Just because your grown up doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy one of your favorite foods you ate as a kid. This Crock Pot Alphabet Soup is the grown up version of your favorite canned soup from childhood.
Oh to be a kid again. Can you remember slurping up alphabet soup as a kid? Did you like plain alphabet soup, alphabet soup with weenies or alphabet soup with mini meatballs?
I was partial to the canned alphabet soup with mini meatballs in it. I loved fishing those tiny little meatballs out of the thick tomato soup.
If you want to make a kid version of this crock pot alphabet soup recipe you could. Just leave out the beef stew meat and slice up some hot dogs, put all the ingredients into the slow cooker (affiliate link-I used my 4-quart crock pot slow cooker) except the pasta.
Once all the ingredients are piping hot add the sliced hot dogs and cook until heated through. The kids will love it!

This is a very basic recipe. I added fresh onions, celery and garlic. Also using frozen veggies instead of canned. To season it i added garlic salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. It was pretty good. But it would have been very bland without the additions i added to it. But great starter recipe. Thanks.
